I’m Justin Lack and I’m a professional drummer and drum teacher in Los Angeles. Since moving to LA in October I've played shows at The Whiskey A-Go-Go, The Roxy, Dragonfly and The Joint. I'm a member of Happenin' Harry And The Haptones and the live drummer for Hi Tech Hate and Sami Grisafe. I had the pleasure of being Mike Portnoy's drum tech when he played with The Four Dudes at King King at Happenin' Harry's post NAMM show. I'm also a performer/teacher at Toddle Tunes in Westwood and a blog writer for Modern Drummer. In Chicago I was the drummer with the hard rock band Fashion Bomb, singer/songwriter Matt Ryd, Xoe Wise and a number of other groups playing to packed rooms everywhere from The Metro to Double Door to Schuba's. I always use Ahead drumsticks and Paiste Cymbals. |

I'm really proud to be a volunteer at CommunicateME. The group volunteers at Crenshaw High School in Compton and helps the students there produce and perform original musical plays. Our first event was a huge success and we were able to include over 50 students! If you'd like to know more about CommunicateME and what the organization is about, visit them at CommunicateME.org. |

After 4 1/2 years I have decided it is time to part ways with Fashion Bomb. I have tremendous respect for the band and am sure they will go on to big things. I just feel that they want to go east and I want to go west. I thank everyone involved with Fashion Bomb and I wish them the best in their future endeavors. |
